As I was taking pictures of Martha inside the phone booth, other people saw and began snapping shots. Oh the paparazzi.
Athens, Greece
Before going up to the Acropolis, they make visitors check their bags. I handed my backpack to them, holding on to Martha and my camera. He pointed at Martha and indicated that she needed to be checked. I told him that I wanted to take it, and was told that I couldn't. No debating. Martha was not welcome: "Not even if it had a Greek flag painted on it!" In order for me to get a shot of Martha with the Parthenon, I had to photograph this from the park area below.

Like Rome, Athens has ancient artifacts scattered throughout the city. This was in a residential neighborhood.
